To make the most of your cake—both in taste and presentation— follow these helpful tips
🧊 Storage & Temperature
Store your cake in the fridge until 1–2 hours before serving when possible (30 minutes in warmer weather).
Never place the cake in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
Don’t leave cakes out too long — as they may soften too much and lose structure.
🚗 Transport Tips
Place the cake on a flat surface in the front footwell or boot of your car.
Never transport the cake on a seat or hold it in your lap.
Use the air-con to keep the cake cool, especially during warmer months.
Avoid sudden stops, sharp turns, and speed bumps—drive with cake love!
🍽️ Serving & Presentation
For clean, photo-ready slices, warm your knife under hot water, wipe it dry, and cut. Wipe the knife between each slice.
Take photos before slicing if you’re planning to share the cake online or want to keep the memory!
Remove non-edible decorations before serving (e.g. acrylic toppers, non-edible flowers, etc.).
👐 Handling the Cake
Always carry the cake from underneath, supporting the base.
Never lift the box from the sides—this can damage the structure or decorations.
Keep the cake on its board—it’s not just a base, it’s essential support.
🧊 Leftovers & Freezing
Store leftover slices in an airtight container in the fridge. Enjoy within 2-3 days.
You can freeze slices for up to 2 weeks— just thaw overnight in the fridge before enjoying.
